A July report conducted by KMPG and REC has revealed that while some sectors have been slow to recover, the Engineering sector is enjoyed a bounceback with many projects that were shelved during the recession now being put into action resulting in increased confidence.  

It appears the gradual increase in jobs in the Engineering sector has remained robust. Much of the sectors confidence and ability to expand and recruit may be due to  export-led companies capitalising on a weak sterling and low export costs, as well as the UK continuing to be seen as a good place to recruit Engineers and Technical Professionals.
