£35000.00 Per Annum

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
SALARY : £30,000 plus with excellent benefits and incentive
COMMUTABLE FROM: Hull, Grimsby, Barton-Upon-Humber, North Ferriby.
SHIFTS: Days and Nights, 5 days over 7
The main aspect of the role is to provide mechanical maintenance to plant and facilities whilst attending also to mechanical breakdowns therefore a strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics aswel of fabrication and fitting
is essential.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* To be fully conersant in all mechanical maintenance disciplines, fabrication, fitting etc
* Provide mechanical maintenance assistance to fast paced machinery, Both PPM and breakdown.
* Provide a mechanical problem solving service to the manufacturing operations
* Ensure all feedback is co operated properly to the maintenance management team
* Be involved with suggesting new ways ti improve the PPM system
* To ensure that all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all time
PERSON REQUIREMENTS
* Mehcanical qualification or time served apprenticeship
* Previous experience in dealing with factory automation at all levels of expertise
* Previous experience and understanding of manufacturing and packaging operations
* Self motivated and able to make own decisions.
