Electrical project Engineer, Coventry
An Electrical project engineer or EDS engineer is required to join a busy automotive supplier with in Coventry.
Electrical project engineer
Rate per hour: £30
Location: Coventry
Your Tasks / Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager
Take ownership of design and validation of electrical harness during vehicle launch
To engineer electrical harness from virtual design
Electrical component specification
Provide robust engineering solutions
Ensuring harnesses are suitable for manufacture and installation
Co ordinate electrical harness development with design and manufacturing
Writing Product Validation Reports demonstrating
product compliance with customer specifications.
Participate in DFMEA reviews
Experience Required
Your Profile:
Educated to HND/degree level, or equivalent, in a Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering discipline
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and circuits
Knowledge of CAP-H/Vesys advantageous but not essential
Demonstrable understanding of AC/DC electrical principles
Experience of working in an APQP environment
Excellent communication skills
Prepared to travel overseas
Have a sound understanding of the harness manufacturing processes
Team Player
