Due to an increase in orders and sustained investment a leading international supplier of electrical power management and rotating control systems requires an experienced GUI Software Engineer to design and project manage both standard products and bespoke systems to meet customers needs.

Salary : £25000-£30000+ benefits
Location: Shropshire (commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Powys areas )
Duties:
- Design and development functional software using C# for PC based GUI or MMI (Man Machine Interface) systems for the companies range of products
- Preparation and review of functional design specifications to meet user, product or customers requirements.
- Provision of design review and technical support to customers and to sales, manufacturing, testing.
Experience:
- BSc Honours Degree Computing, Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Control Systems , Software Engineering or similar.
- High level of competency in PC Application Development in C# Winforms or C# WPF
- Ideally knowledge of composite design applications or .Net 4
- Experience of using structured design methodologies such as UML.
- Experience of software design and programming for industrial products or equipment or engineering applications is essential.
- Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems, HMI, MMI, SCADA/ DCS, Electronic systems or automation is desirable .
- A willingness to be involved in a broad range of design, project engineering, customer support activities.
