Senior Buyer, Warwickshire
A Senior Buyer is needed to source a variety of products from simple to complex terms of process engineering and design across a range of commodities. Identifying suitable suppliers, you will be managing and establishing business relationships that result in a compliant, reliable, cost effective supply. You will be responsible for agreeing commercial terms (price, lead times, minimum order quantities and order multiples). The primary focus will be to deal with outstanding parts from dealers whilst the secondary focus will be to deal with parts that have no supplier sources.
Working as part of a busy but fast-paced team you will be focusing on parts that have no known supplier sources. To be considered fir this role you will need to have purchasing and technical/quality experience coupled with project management skills and be prepared to consider alternative means of order fulfilment and an appreciation of financial/business case evaluation. An understanding of GBOM, WERS, SAP would be an advantage.
