YOT Worker, Oldbury
A large housing provider is looking for a YOT Worker for a temporary three month contract. Working as part of a team as well as on your own initiative you will be working across all tiers and types of interventions within the youth offending team as determined by the YOT Manager to address areas of poor performance, priority areas and cover for long term absence, holding a varied caseload as Case manager.
Working in the Youth Offending Team, you will be working closely with young people on orders ensuring that the requirements of the orders are fully complied with whilst promoting the services to young people and offer education packages designed to reduce the risk of offending, and carrying out 1 to 1's with young people. You will be working closely with children and young people to ensure that the most disaffected young people within the communities are given equal access to mainstream provision.
To be considered for this role previous experience of working with young people is essential to this role as well as having a current enhanced CRB and being a car driver.
