Quality Assurance Technologist £20,000 to £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Quality Assurance Technologist will be a key member of the HACCP team, developing and maintaining HACCP plans and associated controls. Respond to customer questionnaires and technical queries regarding product specifications (kosher certificates, vegetarian suitability, packaging and regulatory issues). To ensure SAP product master data is accurately updated (such as certificate of analysis, raw material replacements and new products). Train warehouse and production operators on food safety and hygiene principles. Work closely with all departments within the business. Perform production and warehouse GMP audits. Co-ordinate kosher supervisors with planning, production and rabbi services.
The Quality Assurance Technologist will be qualified with a Food Science degree or have equivalent qualifications. Have food safety and hygiene certificates. Have previous experience in a QA position within food, ideally with flavours. Strong knowledge of EFSIS and AIB standards is essential.
