Aspiring Food Manufacturing business requires a Packaging Co-Ordinator to join their ever expanding company.
The Packaging Co-Ordinator will be accountable for managing a packaging supply base; ensuring correct packaging materials are delivered to the agreed specification. To liaise with production and NPD managers regarding all existing and new product launches. Manage the supply/supplier relationship to ensure that the targeted service levels are achieved. Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas, supporting products, process and ways of working. Understand and assist with packaging development for new and exciting products.
The Packaging Co-Ordinator will be educated to GSCE, O’ Level or equivalent. Have experience of packaging co-ordination within a manufacturing environment. Have the ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent communication skills are vital in order to interface with customers. Prioritize and organize workload against specific timescales. Ability to negotiate and agree actions with suppliers and colleagues.
