Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Team Leader. The role will ensure all engineers comply with safe systems of work and procedures, including all Health and Safety Procedures, Food Safety and GMP. To manage the Engineers workload, planning and delegating daily tasks to ensure the best use of the resources within the engineering team. Ensure a timely response to breakdowns, supporting production departments at shift start ups and changeovers.
The Engineering Team Leader will complete any paperwork or I.T based information management systems including; Company Asset register, recording of machinery downtime, detailed engineers work logs, formulation of standard operating procedures for all maintenance tasks and completion of KPI's. To ensure that spare parts stock levels are maintained and parts ordered in a timely manner, and to budget.
To undertake any training deemed necessary to assist you in the performance of the Team Leader role. This will include training in the following; 17th edition, Machinery Safety, Working at Height (access platform), Evacuation Procedure, Risk Assessment training, Method statement training, HACCP and Environmental Training.
Experience with hands-on management in a similar role, with excellent communication and organising skills are vital. Ideally multi-skilled, with a bias towards Electrical Engineering.
