Manufacturing Technician, Birmingham
Reporting to a team leader, you will be responsible for carrying out a series of post machining operations for complex machined prismatic parts in order to meet daily delivery demand. Specific tasks include lee plugings, pressure testing and final inspection.
Key Responsibilites
- Ensuring product compliance to manufacturing documentation, layouts and drawings at all stages of manufacturing process
- Raising non conformative documentation and assisting team leaders and shift managers in driving in corrective actions
- Ensuring daily departmental 5s, Gauge calibration recall and TPM tasks are carried out as well as participating in departmental lean events
Person Specification
- Capable of reading manufacturing assembly drawings
- Highly motivated and keen to succeed
- Excellent team player, capable of making an impact at all levels
- Flexible approach to a variety of tasks
